Description
The SB-5425 is one of the most innovative S-Video and Analog Audio switching products on the market today. There are 4 individual S-Video with Audio inputs with 2 identical S-Video with Audio outputs, allowing you to switch any of the 4 a/v sources onto 1 or 2 displays simultaneously. The automatic detection and switching function is based on the VIDEO signal only. However, it can also operate in manual mode using the front panel pushbuttons.
Here's how the auto feature works: If you have a DVD player connected to Input 1, then an active video source appears on input 3 (say you power on your game console), the SB-5425 will switch to that new source and display it on your TV. If the new source is powered off, the SB-5425 will revert back to Input 1. The switcher is compatible with any a/v source or display with an S-Video and Analog R/L audio port, such as VCRs, camcorders, game consoles, DVD players, cable/satellite receivers, TVs, video projectors, and more.
