The SB-5684K is a professional matrix switcher featuring a front panel with LED display, IR Extension, full EDID memory/management, Fast Speed Start, and function control settings for All, Off, EDID, Recall, Memory, and Lock. Instantly control ALL output destinations. Store and access up to 12 custom input/output presets using MEMORY/RECALL buttons. Prevent settings from accidentally being changed during use with the LOCK button. By pressing and holding LOCK for 2 seconds, it will lock/unlock the front panel pushbuttons. Fast Speed Start permits switching between HDMI sources in as little as 2 seconds. The switcher has full EDID learning and management capabilities. There are 8 embedded EDID modes: FSS, H24-3D, H24-3D-M, H36-3D, H36-3D-M, DVI-D 1280x1024-60Hz, DVI-D 1920x1200-60Hz, AUTO. A front panel Learning button activates the EDID learning mode.
The SB-5684K is a true matrix switcher for HDMI, providing 8 individual inputs and 4 individual outputs. The additional HDMI preview output port allows you to connect a local display. The signal will be identical to the output on channel 1, making it perfect for troubleshooting. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output simultaneously, one input to all outputs, or any combination, completely eliminating the need to constantly move around input and output cables. A bandwidth of 6.75Gbps and data rates up to 2.5 Gbps enable full UHD 4K2K, 3D HDMI 1.4 formats, and DVI resolutions up to WUXGA 1920x1200.
Control via manual front panel pushbuttons, the included IR remote, IR Extension up to 1000ft, RS-232 third-party control port, and Ethernet series interface. The RS-232 connection allows functions to be controlled by systems like Control4 (drivers included) or any computerized software/hardware control system. An IR Extender, IR Remote, RS232 Cable, Windows GUI Software, and 19-inch rack ears are included for professional, seamless installation.
